Inspiration:
I’ve been a proud member of Genius Network since 2015—or thereabouts. Lately, I’ve been diving deeper into the art of lyric writing and discovering the joy of making music. Along the way, it hit me: Joe Polish needs a theme song. And so, here it is—the “official”, totally Joe-unapproved Genius Network anthem. Enjoy!
Lyrics:
From rock bottom to a runaway train,
Carpet cleaner to cash king, my life’s insane.
Lost my mother, and my mind followed suit,
But I flipped the script, found the truth, no dispute.
A network of minds sharper than the sharpest blade,
Connections so tight, even struggles start to fade.
Problems? Nah, not in this room,
We light up the dark, erase the gloom.
From addiction to ambition, we’ve got the prescription,
Healing the heart and sharpening the vision.
Every millionaire’s scars tell stories untold,
But here, we rewrite the ending, bold and gold.
You need the right minds, that Genius shine,
Come in broken, leave aligned, it’s prime time.
Solve anything, crack the code, break free,
From struggles to success—it’s the Genius in me.
Entrepreneurs grind till their gears wear out,
But in this circle, there’s no room for doubt.
Bring your pain, bring your pride, bring it all,
We’ll break down the walls that make you feel small.
Workaholics? We’ve been there before,
Escaping the hustle, needing something more.
But Genius Network knows it’s not just work,
We’re saving your soul—leaving doubt in the dirt.
From business breakthroughs to saving marriages,
Helping each other unlock our carriages,
A room full of power, but also heart,
Together we rise, every day a new start.
You need the right minds, that Genius shine,
Come in broken, leave aligned, it’s prime time.
Solve anything, crack the code, break free,
From struggles to success—it’s the Genius in me.
(slow it down with a more introspective tone)
What’s the worth of success without the peace?
Money flows in, but the pain won’t cease.
Till you find the group that speaks your name,
Tells you it’s okay, they’ve been through the same.
We’re not just hustlers, we’re healers too,
Solving life’s puzzles, building something true.
So when you walk through these doors, drop your pride,
You’ll leave stronger, with genius at your side.
You need the right minds, that Genius shine,
Come in broken, leave aligned, it’s prime time.
Solve anything, crack the code, break free,
From struggles to success—it’s the Genius in me.

Lake Mary Livin’

Inspiration:
This one’s personal. It’s inspired by our own big leap from New Jersey to sunny Florida. We’ve got friends in New York—who just so happen to also be family—and while we love them dearly, we can’t help but wish they’d hop off that New York train and bask in the Florida sunshine with us. Life’s better with palm trees, after all! 🌴
Lyrics:
John and Andrew, they’re thick as thieves,
Talkin’ life and business, dreamin’ big ’bout what they believe.
Valerie and Mary, they just roll their eyes,
Sayin’ “Those two think the same, it’s no surprise.”
On the weekends we all laugh, together by the fire,
But it’s hard not to notice there’s a change in desire.
‘Cause John and Val, they packed up their dreams,
Headed down south where the sunshine beams.
Lake Mary’s their place, they’re livin’ it fine,
But Andrew and Mary, they’re still on the New York line.
Val’s makin’ fun of John, says he’s lost his way,
But Andrew knows he’s got somethin’ to say:
“Taxes are lighter where the gators roam free,
But New York’s still home for Mary and me.”
Thieves on the corner, the tax man’s near,
But in Florida, there ain’t no income to fear.
John’s settlin’ in while Andrew stays tight,
Family and friends, we’ll make it all right.
Valerie’s got the water, and sunsets so grand,
John’s got a boat, he’s a fisherman now, oh man!
But Mary’s in Manhattan, says, “Ain’t that cute,
While Andrew’s fightin’ Wall Street in his business suit.”
The men just smile, talkin’ ’bout the plan,
Val and Mary, they don’t quite understand.
Florida sounds nice, but Andrew’s got roots,
Still wearin’ his jacket and New York boots.
John’s callin’ him down, says “The weather’s just right!”
But up in the Big Apple, the city’s alive at night.
But one day, who knows? The winds could change,
Andrew might find his way to that sunny range.
For now, though, we laugh, we love, we stay close,
Whether it’s Florida sun or New York’s coast.
Yeah, we’ll make it all right, from the city to the shore,
No matter where we are, we’ll always be more.
Two couples, one family, best friends through the years,
Laughin’ ’bout taxes, and chasin’ our fears.
From New York to Lake Mary, we’re always near.
